Dirty Couch Brewing opens new taproom today

Sour beer makers Dirty Couch Brewing is finally opening up their first taproom in Magnolia.

Dirty Couch has been around for awhile, brewing and selling bottles from a warehouse (1150 NW 46th St) in Ballard since 2016. The brewers, known for their mixed-fermented sours, are now finally opening their new taproom at 2715 W Fort Street, just off Gilman.

According to their social media posts, they’d hoped to open last weekend, but were delayed due to plumbing inspections. Now, it seems that’s all resolved — they’re opening today at 2pm.

Seattle Eater reports that some of their first beers on tap will be their Inflection Bourbon Cherry, Donut Return, and Irregularity Blackberry Sour Blonde. They’ll have some new brews on tap as well, including a Tayberry Gin Saison.

Dirty Couch will keep their Ballard location, but will only use it for “specialty projects” — the main production will be in their new Magnolia space.
