First, it took about ten minutes to carve all the ice off the windshield. Then the commute over the Ridge was challenging, to say the least. “Traffic is REALLY backed up coming from Ballard up the hill toward 45th. The bus I’m on has been inching up the hill the past 15 minutes,” writes one My Ballard reader who sent us this cell phone pic from the crowded bus at 8:30 this morning.
Sam adds in comments: “At least that person’s bus showed up. we have one gal here at work who stood at the bus stop with a dozen other people until she realized the bus wasn’t coming. she had to walk to work.”
