Sure, it’s a chain, but Tacos Guaymas added some affordable (and tasty) variety to the Thai-heavy restaurant scene in Fremont. A land use action sign outside the restaurant at 100 N. 36th St. says a developer is seeking to demolish the restaurant to make way for a three-story, six unit residential building with 5,289 square feet of restaurant/retail space on the street. The march of Fremont redevelopment continues westward toward Freelard (or is it Frelard?)
Update: Brad comments that the restaurant will reopen in the new building and the staff is excited because there will be more parking.
