The Fremont Neighborhood Council plans to appeal the city’s decision to rebuild and expand the city dump on 34th St., reports Slog. “They want to reconstruct the facility without considering whether it should be somewhere else,” says Fremont resident Toby Thaler. “If you want a lawsuit, that’s the way to do it.” Neighbors say they want it moved to Interbay or a part of Ballard where it’s away from single-family homes.
