Behind the scenes at ‘Deadliest Catch’ party

Apparently we’re not the only ones who don’t watch “The Deadliest Catch” on the Discovery Channel (we watched a couple early episodes but never got hooked, so to speak.) The Seattle Times “Girl About Town” Pamela Stitt was invited to a private party in West Seattle with the captains from the show. “We were greeted by a gentleman wearing a Harley Davidson jacket and snakeskin boots, (and) we had no idea who he was,” she writes. She ate lunch with him as he explained how even the police recognize him in New York. “They call me ‘Kid,'” he said. Turns out it was captain Johnathan Hillstrand. “I don’t watch that show,” Stitt admits.
