Take 5 Urban Market now open

Take 5 Urban Market on the corner of 70th & 8th is now open.

We received a handful of emails from excited neighbors like Danielle:

The owners are a very sweet couple who are still learning the register and figuring out pricing, but it looks like it’s going to be a great spot.
The produce is yummy and reasonably priced. They have basic sandwiches right now and will have a veggie soup (on Wednesday) as well as their beef chili. I was most excited to see that they are selling bottles of sarsaparilla, some yummy looking pastas and sauces, market spice teas, and my favorite little sesame snap snacks.

It also has a good selection of wines in the $8 to $12 range.

By the way, the bus stop along 8th Ave. that was just north of Take 5 has been moved in front of the store. And the bus stop that was just south of there, at 8th and 67th, has been removed altogether.
