Arrest made in Ballard police assault

Police in Lynnwood believe they’ve captured the suspect responsible for assaulting an officer in Ballard on Thursday, resulting in a large-scale search around the neighborhood. The Everett Herald reports police arrested the 38-year-old man near Echo Lake, using a stun gun to subdue him. Police say they recovered a stolen car as well as a storage locker with $200,000 worth of stolen property inside. Another $100,000 worth of property was recovered at a motel room and a storage shed in Woodinville, police say. (Thanks James and M for the tip!)
