A few Ballard events for Friday and into the weekend…
- Today from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. is the open house at the Kolstrand Building on Ballard Ave. Meet the architects and the developers and hear what the plans are for the old building.
- Saturday morning at 9 a.m. help clean up Marvin’s Garden park with Mayor Nickels for the annual Clean and Green.
- The 65th street preschool co-op in Ballard is hosting a Plant Sale & Spring Cleaning Fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Phinney Neighborhood Association’s lower parking lot.
- Also on Saturday at 9 a.m. is the Animals First Foundation fundraiser at 5600 Seaview Ave NW.
- At 1 p.m. on Saturday is story time at Abraxus Books with children’s author Kathleen Hunter.
