Grow your dinner! The Ballard Edible Garden Tour is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The self-guided tour starts at the Ballard P-Patch (8527 25th Ave NW). Tickets are $10 per person or $20 for a carload. All procedes benefit the non-profits Groundswell and Sustainable Ballard.
Senator Jeanne Kohl-Welles and State Rep. Mary Lou Dickerson will be attending the health care reform event at Bergen Place Park on Saturday starting at 10 a.m.
Get to know your neighborhood. The Loyal Heights Scavenger Hunt is Saturday at 11 a.m. Meet at the Loyal Heights Community Center. This event is designed for adults and youngsters alike. More info can be found here.
It’s not Ballard, but it’s right next door. The Greenwood Car Show, which draws thousands of car enthusiasts to the neighborhood is all day Saturday. They will also sponsor a food drive for the Greenwood Food Bank.
