Workshop planned for Seattle matching fund

The City of Seattle helps to fund projects in our community through the Neighborhood Matching Fund.

Projects such as the Adams Elementary Playground and Ballard Corners Park were funded and made possible by the NMF. Other projects include traffic circles, pedestrian planning and beautification projects. If you have a project you’d like funding for, the deadline for your application is August 31st. To help out with the process, there is a workshop on August 3rd. City staffers will be there to answer questions about how to get your application noticed , how to budget and plan and how to document matching funds. The workshop will be held at the Ballard Library from 6 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Please RSVP to Wendy Watson (206-684-0719 or wendy.watson@seattle.gov
