MovieCycle is now open

MovieCycle, the entertainment buy/sell/trade store that we wrote about last week is now open at 2240 NW Market St.

We spoke with the manager, Jeremy Keyes, who tells us that they’ll take DVD, Blu Ray, PSP movies and video games. They’ll also take VHS “but we really don’t want to,” he said. They’ll buy DVDs for $1.50 and up, and buy Blu Ray for around $6. Games are tricky he says, some will be worth pennies, others up to $20. If you want to buy a movie or game, “prices range from $2.99 and up, with most items priced at $5.99 and $6.99,” Keyes says. They’ll be open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. They don’t offer phone quotes, but feel free to bring in as many movies as you’d like for a quote.
