Students learn anti-violence from theatre group

West Woodland Elementary students are getting a lesson in bullying today.

Taproot Theatre’s Road Company is performing their new educational play, Super School. For 25 years the traveling group has performed social-issues plays to schools throughout the Pacific Northwest and this year’s play “teaches kids about preventing violence and managing their emotions by presenting them with a story about superhero kids who aren’t allowed to use their superpowers on the playground.” The group has performed to more than one million students since 1985.
