Market Street Singers donate to Ballard Sr. Center

The Market Street Singers has donated nearly $800 to the Ballard Northwest Senior Center, $100 more than last year.

After recent performances of “Sister’s Christmas Catechism” at the ACT Theater, the singing group collected money from audience members. Chris Vincent, Director of the Market Street Singers, presented the $780 donation to Carlye Teel, Director of the Senior Center, during the center’s annual Holiday Lunch.

Stay tuned for next May’s performance of “Hits of the 60’s (1360’s, 1460’s, 1560’s…).” The Market Street Singers will sing their way through seven centuries of music, from early Renaissance motets to the Beatles. If you’re interested in singing with the group, you can get more info here.
