Savour specialty food shop now open

Savour, the specialty food shop that’s been in the works at 2242 NW Market Street, opens today.

We stopped in Tuesday for a sneak peek and found the shelves full of flavored salts, gourmet sauces, colored popcorn and more. They also have cheese, wine and beer, plus glasses, wine openers, and little salt spoons. The owner, Holly McLean, tells us that she decided to do this in April. She wrote up a business plan, found a space and has been working tediously to get the shop open. From the number of people who poked their heads in while we were there, it seems there is lots of curiosity for Savour.
