Account set up to help fire families

Dozens of family, friends and neighbors gathered in front of the scene of Saturday morning’s fire to remember the five lives lost in the blaze.

A bank account has been set up at Bank of America to donate money to the families. It’s called the Seattle Children’s Fire Fund. There will also be a booth at this weekend’s Fremont Fair to leave donations, as well.

Fremont Universe has more on tonight’s gathering.

  1. Could you provide more details about the fund, Do you just go a BofA branch with a check to Seattle Childrens Fire Fund?
Is this going through a charity(If there is a way to do this, perhaps through the Tigray Community Association, it would allow matching donations from companies that do this for their employee’s gifts)?
