Ballard High School PE teacher (and BHS Alum) Tami Reese is the Ballard Rotary Club’s Teacher of the Year.
Reese was awarded the 2nd Annual Dave Maloney Teacher of the Year Award for her active involvement in implementing a new Health and PE curriculum as well as classroom based assessments. Reese is a department chair, an active member of the Instructional Council, a member of the Equity and Learning Team and the varsity volleyball coach. “She has the commitment, drive and energy that makes all of us better educators,” Principal Phil Brockman says, “Ms. Reese leads by example, relates very well to her students and is highly respected by the entire Ballard High School community. One of the best!”

that guy next to her looks like he could use some phys. ed.
I had Ms. Reese for health class and she was one of the best teachers I had in high school. I love it when hard working and passionate teachers get acknowledged! Go Beavers!
Nice job yep. “that guy” gives countless hours of service to the community – the food bank, polio eradication, helping kids at Adams elemnetary learn to read. What have you done for the community lately.
gts206 is right, That Guy is awesome. He organizes people for the hungry, makes sure kids in schools have dictionaries, raises money for Special Olympics…..really? why the snarky comment YEP?
Look like nice people.
Though… either it’s a bad picture or they need to review the lesson plan about the health benefits of sunscreen application vs. the dangers of UV rays exposure.
Think before you post. You would be hard pressed to find a classier person in Ballard who represents the community so well and as selflessly as “That Guy”.
