Community invited to tour Ballard with Councilmember Larry Phillips

On Friday afternoon, Metropolitan King County Councilmember Larry Phillips will tour Ballard to learn about a couple of changes in the community and hear the issues and concerns of business owners.

The tour, organized by the Ballard Chamber of Commerce, will begin at 12:45 p.m. at the Ballard Food Bank 5130 Leary Ave NW and will conclude at approximately 2:30 p.m. Local residents are invited to join Phillips on the tour. He, along with nonprofit and business leaders, will take a tour of the new location of the Ballard Food Bank, the Ballard Landmark and other Ballard businesses.   1. The snakelike Ballard Chamber is at it again. Too bad Larry is not meeting with an organization that works for whats best for the community.

  2. Note to community — the County Council – save for running Metro and sewers — can’t do anything for local business in Ballard. This is just Larry trying to pretend he is doing something. Sad…
