Thanks Rotary for honoring these great kids!!!
if you want to train dolphins, wouldn’t it make sense to get a degree in marine biology instead of marketing?
also, isn’t the idea of attending college in california a little too broad? I’m sure there’s some horrible schools down there–she needs to be more specific in her goals.
congrats by the way.
If I knew the bio I was sending to Rotary was going to appear on this site for the trolls to poke at, I’d be more than a little vague with the details, too.
I’m serious gurple. If one of your children told you her lifelong goal was to train dolphins, wouldn’t you want to steer her on a path to achieve this?
I agree with you though that these details are easily mocked by trolls.
As a dolphin currently at Sea World, I can’t wait to play with Jamie.
see, that’s the problem with our world.
when I went to college there were millions of minions in marketing. it’s a catch-all major for those without deep aspirations who are looking for a relatively easy academic life in college.
why doesn’t she say her goal is to make money then?
For crying out loud, if you don’t have anything nice to say, please don’t say it. This is a local high school kid who is being acknowledged for being the student of the month. A simple congratulations and ‘good job’ will do. Troll!
hey nicey, are you my mother?
I don’t think I said anything nice, nor anything evil. Just questioning the facts and motivation.
I hope the students read this and think about it.
