Assault near Ballard High sends one to hospital

Updated 9 a.m. Police responded to 15th Ave. and 65th St., just outside Ballard High School, a little after 11:30 last night to investigate a report of an assault with weapon. According to Seattle Police a 23-year-old male victim was with a group of friends in a car when he had an encounter with the driver of another car near NW 65th St and 15th Ave NW. The people in both cars may have known each other.

“The victim, seated in the backseat, rolled down the window, as did the driver of the other car. They began yelling at each other, and both got out of their cars. The victim and the suspect began fighting in the street and then both got back into their cars. The victim realized that he had been stabbed and he was driven to Ballard Swedish Hospital,” the SPD Blotter states.

The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center for his injuries.

  1. It must not have been a simple stab wound to an extremity. Serious trauma from all around the Puget Sound is sent to Harborview. They are a level 1 trauma center. The only one in the area.

  2. Whoever says this is typical around Ballard High is probably one of those snooty Queen Anne residents that think they’re so superior to us Ballardites.

  3. THERE NEEDS TO BE OF THIS GOING ON BALLARD, FUCK THE GENERAL POPULATION, IN THE NEXT YEARS YOU YUPPY FAGS, WILL REALLY SEE YOUR PRECIOUS BALLARD GO DOWN HILL.
