Suspect arrested in Crown Hill robbery

A 17-year-old has been arrested in connection to a robbery at the T-Mobile store on Crown Hill on February 11th.

From the SPD Blotter:

On that occasion employees observed him attempting to cut the cable securing the phone to the display. When employees confronted him, the suspect menaced them with large shears and told them to get out of his way. The suspect was able to flee the store with the stolen cell phone.

The next day, police say the same suspect grabbed several cell phones from a store in Lake City before he was confronted by an employee. The suspect pushed and elbowed the employee and got away in a green sedan.

Detectives arrested the suspect early this morning in Renton. He has been booked into the Youth Services Center for Investigation of Robbery.

  1. I’d love to find out more about the “green sedan”. The scumbags who snatched my son’s bike drove off in a green sedan…
