  1. The Ballard BBQ place (that replaced the Chai House) was open then closed super quickly, then same thing with the Vintner’s Annex (next to the new Tea Cozy yarn shop). How does that happen? How can someone fork over the huge pile of money to open a liquor-serving business then close…. I can only imagine the financial hardship on the forelorned entreprueners.

  2. Sometimes your “forelorned entrepreneurs” are people who have unrealistic dreams, lack proper funding, andor intelligence to succeed.

  3. I do hope they are able to re-open. I love this place. I like sitting at the window, opening a book, drink a beer, and watch market. Its quiet in there right after work. The nightlife isn’t horrid. Its busy, but never insane. It has started becoming my favorite bar and my go to place.
