Give your input for the Shilshole Gateway project

The stretch of 36th Ave NW that curves onto NW 61st and then to 38th Ave NW, called the Shilshole Gateway, is soon to get a new look.

The Department of Neighborhoods recently awarded a Neighborhood Matching Fund grant to improve the corridor and tonight is the kick-off input meeting. From 7 to 9 p.m. at the Sunset Hill Community Association Clubhouse (3003 NW 66th St), bring your ideas for the connection between Sunset Hill and Shilshole. Barker Landscape Architects will present initial site analysis and the group will begin to develop a concept for the area and landscaping improvements.
