#Twinutesilence to remember Norway victims

For one minute on Friday, people around the world are being asked to step away from Twitter and Facebook for a virtual moment of silence. Take the minute to “pay respects to those who lost their lives and to the families and friends left behind in Norway,” the Twinute Silence website states.

The #Twinutesilence will be held at 6 p.m. Oslo time, which is 9 a.m. here in Ballard. Four friends in Dublin came up with the idea on Monday, by Tuesday the plan was put into action.
