There will soon be two vacant storefronts at the intersection of NW Market St and 22nd Ave NW. Tully’s (2060 NW Market St) is closing September 18th.
The baristas tell us that the store is closing for several reasons. They were told that there are issues with the flooring that need fixing and the store isn’t profitable. They also say that the landlord is raising the rent. Tully’s will be finding new stores for the Ballard baristas once this store closes.
Just across the street from Tully’s, 5 Corners Market and Bar suddenly closed earlier this year just four months after opening. (Thanks Mike for the tip!)
