A jury returned the guilty verdict on Monday. He faces at least 27 years in prison when he is sentenced in King County Superior Court.

At his initial arraignment in August of 2009, Elijah Hall pleaded ‘not guilty’ to first-degree murder charges. Then in November of that same year, he pleaded guilty at a court hearing. Then in January 2010, on the day he was to be sentenced, Hall dismissed his attorney and withdrew his guilty plea.
