Coat drive underway to help the homeless

As the weather gets colder and wetter, the need for warm weather gear for homeless men and women is great. A non-profit organization called “Heroes for the Homeless” is holding a coat drive through the end of the month.

Donations of coats, sweaters, mittens, scarves, sleeping bags, tents, blankets and other donations are being accepted at the Other Coast Cafe (5315 Ballard Ave.)

  1. That was a good question Karen, as I’ve seen pecies at T.J. Maxx myself, I actually have picked up some of those because I love the pattern and the price was so good. I mix them with the old pecies that I have found at tag sales or even on ebay. I don’t mind, as long as I love them and they look beautiful thats all that matters. I even mix other patterns with them. Thanks Susan for the info on the dishes very informative. East Longmeadow, Ma
