Services postponed and schedules adjusted for Thanksgiving

With the Thanksgiving holiday coming up, several services have adjusted their schedules.

  • King County Metro is reducing schedules for Thursday and Friday. Thursday’s schedule will be on the Sunday operating schedule. Friday will have a reduced weekday schedule.
  • There is no garbage, recycling or food and yard waste collections on Thursday. If Thursday is your normal garbage day, put your cans out on Friday. If Friday is your garbage day, put your cans out on Saturday. Make sure to have your containers out by 7 a.m.
  • The City of Seattle’s North Recycling and Disposal Station in the Fremont/Wallingford area and the South Recycling and Disposal Station in the South Park area will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. Both stations will reopen at 8 a.m. on Friday, November 25.
  • Neighborhood Service Centers will be closed for a four-day weekend starting Thursday. They will reopen on Monday, November 28th
