As we posted on Friday, the Seattle Empty Bowls organization helped put on a fundraiser to help raise money for the Ballard Food Bank. The fundraiser, which was yesterday at the Nordic Heritage Museum, helped raise $9,700 for the food bank.
At the fundraiser, attendees were asked to give a $15 donation for a bowl filled with soup and bread. All profits went to the Ballard Food Bank.
