Ballard High School to host All-Class Alumni Music Concert this weekend

Tomorrow, Saturday April 7, the Ballard High School (BHS) music program is putting on a concert performed by current and former BHS students. The All-Class Alumni Music Concert, which only happens every two years, will be at the Earl Kelly Performing Arts Center at BHS.

The proceeds from the concert go to support the music program at the high school. The first three Alumni Music Benefit concerts in 2006, 2008, and 2010, raised over $40,000.

From Dick Lee with BHS:

We hope you’ll join us in donating to make this year’s concert even more successful, or better yet, by signing on as a Concert Sponsor. Sponsor Packages include 2 seats in the reserved front section and recognition in the program. Sponsorships available include:

• Patron ($2,500)
• Maestro ($1,000)
• Concert Master ($500)
• First Chair ($250)
• Musician ($100)

Do you play an instrument yourself? If you’d like not just to attend the concert, but to take part, here’s your chance. For the first time, we’re offering parents the opportunity to play (or sing) along with our alumni and students.
