Ballard Boys & Girls Club gets help during United Way Day of Caring

Over the weekend, the Boys & Girls Club got some help with painting, cleaning and work projects from the R.J. Reynolds Company. Friday, September 21 was the United Way Day of Caring, during which companies all over the Northwest gave time to help local non-profits and schools in the community, according to Billy Rodgers from the club.

“At the Ballard Boys & Girls Club, 30 employees of the R.J. Reynolds Company, spent all day Friday, painting, trimming, cleaning, and working on many projects around the club.  The photo shows them installing a basket in the gym.  On behalf of the Ballard Boys & Girls Club, we say thank you for all of their hard work and dedication.  The club looks awesome!,” Rodgers writes.
