On Thursday, October 4, you can learn how to utilize solar energy in your home at a workshop at the Ballard Library. Go Solar Seattle Northwest is putting on the workshop, which will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. They’ll be explaining the community-based bulk-buying solar campaign which is currently underway in Ballard. “Come and find out how you can put sunshine in your wallet and take advantage of bulk purchasing power to save money and energy, reap the limited time State incentives, and enjoy many years of free electricity,” according to the event info.
