Pestle Rock applies for sidewalk cafe permit

Pestle Rock Isan Thai Cuisine at 2305 NW Market St. has applied for a sidewalk cafe permit, just in time for summer. The restaurant opened about a year ago after Snoose Junction vacated suddenly last May.

According to the city’s Department of Planning and Development (DPD), there will be a public comment period until June 17. Because the permit involves sidewalk use, the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) will make the decision after the public comment period has ended. Comments can be made by email, annualpermits@seattle.gov, or by mail to SDOT, Attn: Annual Permits, PO Box 34996, Seattle, WA 98124.
