The RE Store (1440 NW 52nd St) will celebrate its 20th Anniversary this Saturday, June 22. To mark the occasion the stores (in Bellingham and Ballard) will be hosting a special Customer Appreciation Day event from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

“Come join in the fun and help us celebrate our 20th Anniversary – made possible by you,” says RE Store Seattle Outreach, Marketing and Development Manager Bray Hayden.

The following specials will be on offer during the event:

  • Sales!! 20% off the whole store in Seattle along with name your price items. Bellingham will be doing discounts on ‘select items’, including Revision division discounts
  • free Hempler’s all-beef hot dogs, Field Roast’s veggie-sausages and lemonade
  • music and games
  • Door prizes and In-Store Treasure Hunt!
  • bean bag toss for extra coupons
  • REvision Division demonstrations

The RE Store is a nonprofit building salvage center that started in Bellingham as a program of RE Sources for Sustainable Communities, in response to the amount of perfectly usable building materials that end up in the the landfill. “Seeing the quick success in Bellingham led to the Seattle store opening in Ballard in 1999, recognizing the larger source market for materials to sell in both stores,” says Hayden.
