Developers have applied to construct a three-story apartment building onto a single-home lot at 1762 NW 59th St, just a block away from the “apodment” construction that gained attention last week from the demolition of a home built in 1909. According to the Department of Planning and Development (DPD), the application for the apartment building on NW 59th St. describes the project as a three-story apartment building containing 25 residential units. Storage for 20 bicycles will be provided at the basement level and there is no vehicle parking planned.
