According to Seattle Met’s NOSH Pit blog, new eatery Brunswick & Hunt is set to open in Ballard on the corner of 70th and 15th. The restaurant will join other Ballard favorites including Delancey, Honoré and Fat Hen who already call that block home.
Brunswick & Hunt is being opened by two Seattle restaurateurs and brothers Barry Rogel, from Deluxe Bar & Grill, and Scott Rogel, from the Athenian. The B&H team told NOSH pit that the eatery is set to be a “farm-to neighbourhood restaurant with an intimate atmosphere inspired by a historic (and massive) Northwest back bar and mural found in Winlock.”
According to the Rogels, Brunswick & Hunt will be a place to stop by for cocktails, small plates and chef designed multi-course feasts. Reportedly, Chef Jeffrey Davidson, who has previously worked at Ray’s, Vios at Third Place and Bastille, is set to create the menu.
The My Ballard team will keep readers up to date with the progress of the restaurant that is scheduled to open early next year.
