The Nordic Heritage Museum (3014 NW 67th St) will be facilitating a kids glass art program to coincide with the mid-winter break tomorrow (Thursday, February 20) from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Attendees will get the chance to check out the Swedish glass exhibition Pull, Twist, Blow and make their own faux glass bowl at this drop-in program.
After viewing the exhibit for inspiration, kids can decorate transparency film with special markers and then watch as their creation is twisted into a new shape using heat.
Cost for the drop in class is museum admission, and a small donation of $1 per art creation is suggested. No reservations needed.
