A pair of local businesses with Ballard locations have announced their plans to celebrate the Seahawks upcoming season.

Cupcake Royale, with a Ballard location at 2052 NW Market St, will be offering the “12th Fan” cupcakes (the official cupcakes of the Seahawks) in all cafes on game days and for large pre-orders on their website. These chocolate and vanilla cupcakes in Seahawks colors are topped with custom-made 12 sugar toppers.

“We are so proud that the fans love the 12th Fan Cupcakes as much as we do,” said Cupcake Royale Founder Jody Hall in a press release. “They make game-watching that much more fun!”

Meanwhile, KuKuRuZa Gourmet Popcorn, located at 2211 NW Market St, is showing off their love for running back Marshawn Lynch with their “Beast Corn” (pictured below).

Between August 25 and September 7, you can pick up your bag of the lime and blueberry flavored popcorn (designed to mimic the flavor of Lynch’s favorite sweet treat) by going to any of the three KuKuRuZa Seattle stores, or by calling the store of your choice, pre-paying, and selecting a pick-up date at Ballard, Bellevue or Downtown.

“We were thrilled with the success of Beast Corn last season and of course our Championship team,” said KuKuRuZa Owner Grant Jones in a press release. “We wanted to start another winning football season off right.”
