Friday, October 3

  • Ballard Ducks Unlimited 22nd Annual Dinner at Ballard Elks Lodge (6411 Seaview Ave NW) from 5:30 p.m. Come enjoy our 22nd annual banquet and charity auction in the name of North American wetlands conservation.
  • Macefield Music Festival on at a variety of venues around Ballard from 6 p.m. Tickets $25 for a day pass, $40 for a two day pass. Click here for more details.
  • Rainbow Bingo at Ballard Senior Center (5429 32nd Avenue Northwest) from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Sylvia will be calling a wild and crazy Bingo game! Ticket prices are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Click here for more details.
  • The Wolf and The Witch performance at Ballard Underground (2220 NW Market St) from 8 p.m. – 10 p.m. Seattle Experimental Theater is proud to present its latest new play, The Wolf and The Witch, an original improvised fairy tale inspired by stories from the audience. Cost is free.

Saturday, October 4

  • Reiki 1 Class for Abundance at Ballard Healing Arts (8314 8th Ave NW) from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. In Reiki 1 Class you will learn a series of hand positions to give yourself Reiki, self care is essential part of a Reiki practice.  Then, you will be taught how to offer Reiki to others including learning Reiki hand positions for healing touch.   • Simple Home Remedies: How to Make Your Own Herbal Medicine at Dandelion Botanical Co (5424 Ballard Ave) from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. Join class two of a 5 week course designed to teach you how to make your own herbal, medicinal products.   This week participants will explore how to make herbal infused honeys, vinegar, and wine infusions. Cost is $40.
