This Thursday (June 18), residents will have yet another chance to weigh in on three potential “Missing Link” solutions at a public meeting at Ballard High School. The meeting will be hosted by the Seattle Department of Transportation, and will look at alternative routes and the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the stretch where the Burke-Gilman Trail is missing, between 11th Ave NW and NW 45th St and the Ballard Locks. The missing link is the last incomplete portion of the regional trail which travels between Golden Gardens Park and Bothell. The meeting will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ballard High School cafeteria.

From SDOT:

Attend the open house to learn about the alternative routes, how they will be evaluated, and the timeframe for the EIS. This event is an early opportunity for you to learn more about the project so you can make informed comments when the draft EIS is released in 2016.

There will be a brief presentation at 6:30 p.m., and residents will have a chance to talk to the project team. To learn more about the project, click here.
