Surface repairs on Burke Gilman Trail start today

Crews will be out working to repair stretches of the Burke Gilman Trail starting today (Tuesday, June 16). A contractor working for the Seattle Department of Transportation will grind and patch small areas of pavement on the trail from today through Friday, June 19.

The trail will be reduced in width but will remain open throughout the repairs, scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Crews will work between NE 145th St and the Ballard Locks.

The repairs are a joint project of the Seattle Department of Parks and Recreation and the Seattle Department of Transportation.
