Crews from the Seattle Department of Transportation will be closing parts of 3rd Ave NW today and tomorrow (June 23 and 24) for resurfacing. The street will be closed from NW 130th to NW 135th Streets from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
SDOT says there will be flaggers helping drivers navigate one shared lane for north and southbound traffic. They advise that drivers should plan for congestion and delays during the roadwork. Crews can only complete the work during fair weather, so it could be rescheduled if the weather turns.
