Game night at Ballard Library

The Ballard Library hosts a free all-ages board game night tonight, July 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. Games will be played in the Miriam Twitchell Alberg and Thomas A. Alberg Meeting Room meeting room.

“Bring your friends and family, or come alone and join in playing a vast array of board games,” says Adult Services Librarian Jonathan Koroshec.

They’ve let us know that games available there will include Blokus, Carcassonne, Ticket to Ride, Jenga, Scrambled States of America and more. Additionally, attendees are welcome to bring their own games.

People are more than welcome to bring food and drinks into the game space, as well. The room can comfortably accommodate about 40 people in this setting, but Koroschec expects about 15 or so.

All are welcome to attend; no registration is required. “The fun thing is that we get both young and old playing games together,” he says. “Some are more serious gamers, some are just there to play.”

  1. A great place to start is with game nights. The library offers several opportunities for you to play games together and enjoy some fun socializing. We have book clubs, movie nights, art classes and even card games available. One of my friends asked my why megaways slots not on gamstop then I explained him things that I gathered from reading online.
