This weekend is full of block parties, with PARK(ing) Day happening today and Seattle Summer Parkways tomorrow, with seven miles of Ballard streets to be transformed into play spaces for families. The Sustainable Ballard Festival will coincide with Summer Parkways on Saturday, taking over Ballard Commons Park. The weather should hold out for the festivities, with partly sunny skies and 74 degrees in the forecast.

- Summer Parkways : Seven miles of Ballard streets will be shut down from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a massive neighborhood block party.
- Sustainable Ballard Festival at Ballard Commons Park from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Free yoga in the park: Every Saturday starting July 25th a free yoga class will be held in Ballard Commons Park with instructors from the Ballard Health Club. 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Saturdays through September. Bring a yoga mat! All levels of experience welcome.
