My Ballard reader Angie emailed in to report that she had discovered a number of needles in a campsite along the far western portion of the 58th St Greenway in Ballard.

Along 37th Pl NW, where the road slants down from the railroad overpass toward the Burke-Gilman, there are a multitude of needles in a campsite. This area has been reported numerous times to the city and cleaned up several times, but with no active policing it continues to thrive as a hot spot for drugs.
There are many other illegal encampments all along the Burke-Gilman and RR tracks. Watch your kids and dogs. Watch your step!
