Enjoy the weekend in Ballard at these fantastic events!

FRIDAY, June 10

  • Park in the Heart childrens Art Classes at Ballard Commons Park (5701 22nd Ave NW) from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. The classes will allow children to experiment with color and each week will have a new theme. All are welcome and the event is free.
  • Pints with a Purpose event at Ballard Beer Company (2050 NW Market St) from noon – midnight. $1 from every pint or wine glass sold will go to local non-profit Operation Tiny Home.
  • Live Music
    • Jazz at Egan’s Ballard Jam House (1707 NW Market St)
      • 7 p.m. – Ann Evans Studio presents A Cabaret! A Benefit! – tickets $20
      • 9 p.m. – Boxwell/Feldman Group – $10 cover/$6 students
    • NOLA Roadhounds: REBIRTH Brass Band at Tractor Tavern (5213 Ballard Ave NW) at 8 p.m. Tickets $45.
    • Tape Stacks, Lydia Ramsey and Honey Noble at Sunset Tavern (5433 Ballard Ave NW) 9 p.m. Tickets $12.
    • The Swearengens at Peddler Brewing Co. (1514 NW Leary Way7:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. No cover, all ages welcome.

SATURDAY, June 11

SUNDAY, June 12

    • Ballard Farmer’s Market along Ballard Ave from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.
    • Zumba Class at Ballard Elks (6411 Seaview Ave NW) from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. $5 suggested donation, all funds raised go to Ballard Elks charities. Classes are held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays each month.
    • The Seattle-Bergen Sister City Association present the annual Grieg Gala at Ballard First Lutheran Church (2006 NW 65th St) from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. The event will include music, refreshments and plenty of fun.
    • Live Music
      • Open mic at Conor Byrne Pub (5140 Ballard Ave NW) sign-up at 7:30 p.m.
      • Lizzy Rose, Little Child Man and Michaud Savag at the Sunset Tavern (5433 Ballard Ave NW) at 8 p.m. Tickets $8.
      • Frazey Ford- Canadian Singer/Songwriter with Matt Strutynski Band at Tractor Tavern (5213 Ballard Ave NW) at 8 p.m. Tickets $20.
