FRIDAY, July 1

  • Park in the Heart childrens Art Classes at Ballard Commons Park (5701 22nd Ave NW) from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. The classes will allow children to experiment with color and each week will have a new theme. All are welcome and the event is free.
  • Live Music
    • Jazz at Egan’s Ballard Jam House (1707 NW Market St)
      • 7 p.m. – Sasswriter’s Showcase – $5-$10 suggested donation
      • 9 p.m. – Spencer Edgers Group – $10 cover
    • The Paperboys with The Gin Joints at Tractor Tavern (5213 Ballard Ave NW) at 9 p.m. Tickets $22.
    • The Black Lillies and The Swearengens at Sunset Tavern (5433 Ballard Ave NW) 8:30 p.m. Tickets $15.
    • The Swearengens at Peddler Brewing Co. (1514 NW Leary Way) 7:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. No cover, all ages welcome.

SATURDAY, July 2

    • Ballard History Walk from 10 a.m. – 11:45 p.m. meet at Bergen Place Park (5420 22nd Ave NW). Cost is $15 per person. Call or text (206) 504-0916 to reserve your spot.
    • Pre-Natal Yoga Class at Ballard Health and Wellness Center(1138 NW Market St) at 10 a.m. Class led by Nico Lund. Cost is $14, bring a yoga mat.

      • Lonesome Shack (Album Release) with Pampa (release) and Pete Quirk at Tractor Tavern (5213 Ballard Ave NW) at 9 p.m. Tickets $10.
      • The Hoot Hoots, The West and Harder Than Contra at Sunset Tavern (5433 Ballard Ave NW) 8:30 p.m. Tickets $10.
      • Frank Kohl Trio at Egan’s Ballard Jam House (1707 NW Market St) 9 p.m. $10 cover.

SUNDAY, July 3

    • Ballard Farmer’s Market along Ballard Ave from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.
    • The Pedaler’s Fair on NW 49th Street at 17th Ave NW from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. The popular street party will comprise of local bike goods, food, music, very local beer and more.
    • Live Music
      • Open mic at Conor Byrne Pub (5140 Ballard Ave NW) sign-up at 7:30 p.m.
      • Sunshine Factory, Fruit Juice, Happy Times Sad Times and Portage Babes at the Sunset Tavern (5433 Ballard Ave NW) at 8 p.m. Tickets $8.
      • Los Straitjackets with King of Hawaii at Tractor Tavern (5213 Ballard Ave NW) at 8 p.m. Tickets $20.
