FRIDAY, July 15

  • Park in the Heart childrens Art Classes at Ballard Commons Park (5701 22nd Ave NW) from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. The classes will allow children to experiment with color and each week will have a new theme. All are welcome and the event is free.
  • Live Music
    • Nashville Folkgrass – Billy Strings at Sunset Tavern (5433 Ballard Ave NW) 9 p.m. Tickets $12.
    • Dave Alvin & Phil Alvin with The Guilty Ones and The Americans at Tractor Tavern (5213 Ballard Ave NW) at 9 p.m. Tickets $25.
    • Jazz at at Egan’s Ballard Jam House (1707 NW Market St)
      • 7 p.m. Grupo Amoroso ($8 cover)
      • 9 p.m. The Arsonists ($15 cover/$10 students)

SATURDAY, July 16

  • Seattle Tilth’s Chicken Coop & Urban Farm Tour from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Tour goers will visit some of Seattle’s best chicken coops and urban farms! On this self-guided tourmeet chickens, goats, ducks, rabbits and bees, and see unique and artful gardens. Tickets are $8 for children and $35 for groups.
  • Pre-Natal Yoga Class at Ballard Health and Wellness Center(1138 NW Market St) at 10 a.m. Class led by Nico Lund. Cost is $14, bring a yoga mat.
  • Live Music
    • Tony Joe White with Michael Wohl at Sunset Tavern (5433 Ballard Ave NW) 8:30 p.m. Tickets $20.
    • Sleeping Planet (Album Release), The Blue Tracks and Tellers at Tractor Tavern (5213 Ballard Ave NW) at 9 p.m. Tickets $8.
    • Xavier Del Castillo Quintet at Egan’s Ballard Jam House (1707 NW Market St) 7 p.m. $12 cover/$7 students.

SUNDAY, July 17

  • Ballard Farmer’s Market along Ballard Ave from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.

    • Open mic at Conor Byrne Pub (5140 Ballard Ave NW) sign-up at 7:30 p.m.
    • East Texas Songwriter Paul Cauthen at Sunset Tavern (5433 Ballard Ave NW) 8 p.m. Tickets $8.
    • Katie Blackstock’s B-Day Bash featuringStrugglers (Danzig cover) and Pink Parts at 8:30 p.m. Tickets $8.
