If you feel like meeting your neighbors and getting your hands dirty, join the Sunset Hill – Shilshole Gateway work party tonight at 5 – 7pm at 3601 NW 62nd St.
“Please join us to weed the landscape ends of the 36th Ave NW median,” the organizers tell us. They ask that helpers bring water, work gloves, and any favorite weeding tools. They’ll provide safety vests, some tools and light refreshments.
Workers should meet at the north end, just south of NW 62nd St. If they have enough volunteers, they’ll also tackle the south end, and possibly some of the rest of the corridor down to the Burke Gilman Trail.
