Every Saturday this month, there are free art lessons and craft tables for kids at Ballard Commons Park.
Known as Park in the Heart, the Arts in Parks funded program is happening from 11am to 5pm this coming Saturday and next (June 17 and 24). Local artist Blanca Santander will be teaching the lessons, and providing kids with recycled materials and paint for craft projects. Crafting activities include coloring, painting, practice cutting with scissors, etching, and learning how to make prints.
