Development Update October 9: a subdivision application and apodment decision

An application for a subdivision, plus a decision to allow a 30-unit apodment building just off 15th Ave NW make up today’s development update, as provided by the city’s Land Use Information Bulletin.

1751 NW 61ST ST

A Land Use Application has been submitted to subdivide one development site into three unit lots. The construction of residential units is under Project #6483542. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots.

Comments may be submitted through 10/23/2017.

Decisions:

1443 NW 63RD ST

Land Use Application to allow a 4-story apartment building with 30 small efficiency dwelling units. No parking is proposed. Existing structures to be demolished.

Determination of Non-Significance (no environmental impact statement required).  Environmental review completed and no conditions imposed.  This DNS is issued using the optional DNS process in WAC 197.11.355 and SMC 25.05.355.  The comment period was originally published on May 5, 2016 and there is no further comment period on this DNS.

Appeals of this decision must be received by the Hearing Examiner no later than 10/23/2017.
